Estill — A 33-year-old man was arrested after the Hampton County Sheriff’s Department said he impregnated a ten year old girl during a rape.

The incident happened around Thanksgiving 2015, which means the victim is five months pregnant. Due to the newly enacted law, she can no longer get an abortion, meaning she’s being raped all over again by the politicians in Columbia.

Tony Orlando Singleton, 33, was arrested on April 18 by the Estill Police Office and the HCSD.

More arrests are possible, according to WSAV-DT.

BREAKING NEWS: AT&T will shutter its 2G network by Halloween

Dallas — It’s official: the end is near for 2G, also known as EDGE/GPRS on Big Orange.

John Stevens, the Chief Financial Officer, told Wireless Week AT&T Mobility has moved six million of their subscribers off the 2G network in the past year, with the rest of the users consisting largely of feature phone users.

“There still is a lot of cost that is left just to operate even a piece of the 2G network,” said Mr. Stevens. “So we are anxious to capture that savings and use it to continue a strong EBITDA story for our wireless business.”

Mr. Stevens said AT&T is planning to refarm the spectrum from the decommissioned 2G network to Long Term Evolution help meet ever increasing data demands.

According to Mr. Stevens, the carrier has already repurposed some of the 2G network spectrum in areas where 2G device traffic has dropped off. This incremental approach, he said, means some markets will only have small chunks of spectrum left that need to be repurposed.  It is not immediately known if those chunks will be refarmed to 3G, 4G or LTE.

AT&T isn’t the first US carrier to refarm its 2G spectrum, though.

Twenty-two months ago, archrival T-Mobile USA announced plans to upgrade its 2G/EDGE GSM network and deploy LTE on that PCS spectrum. The project was completed on November 30, 2015.

According to recent report from OpenSignal, the switch has helped T-Mobile make substantial speed gains, and some indoor penetration gains in areas where PCS LTE signal is strong.

DanicaTMNT-main

Joliet, Ill. — The First Race of the 2016 Chase will have some very famous superheroes from 1984 there.

Leonardo, Donatello, Raphael and Michelangelo – collectively known as the heroes in a half-shell now for 32 years – will make an appearance along with April O’Neal at the Chicagoland Speedway.

Via NASCAR:

“We are excited to partner with Chicagoland Speedway to continue sponsoring and participating in marquee racing events that resonate with motorsports fans across the country,” said Anthony DiCosmo, Senior Vice President, Sports Marketing and Development, Nickelodeon. “Just as we did with last season’s SpongeBob SquarePants 400 (won by Jimmie Johnson) at Kansas Speedway, the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 400 will continue to expand our relationship with NASCAR, while working with another best-in-class ISC track to give fans a unique and engaging race experience that the whole family can enjoy.”

“We are thrilled to partner with a world class brand like Nickelodeon for the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 400 on Sept. 18,” said Scott Paddock, Chicagoland Speedway President. “This is an exciting opportunity for us to partner with one of the preeminent youth focused brands on the planet to deliver an unprecedented level of family entertainment while engaging Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles fans of all ages.”

“It’s great to be back in my home state of Illinois to be a part of this exciting announcement for the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 400,” said Danica Patrick, who will have the April O’Neal/Nature’s Bakery entry onboard. “The Nickelodeon-sponsored races are really cool because they truly are fun for the entire family. Nature’s Bakery and Nickelodeon have put together an awesome paint scheme and I can’t wait to have the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and April O’Neil riding along with me in September.”

Ms. Patrick’s unique car was designed by Chicago artist Hebru Brantley, who will also design the race trophy, additional Turtles-branded paint schemes and other visual elements. Brantley breaks down the walls of cultural boundaries through his art and inspired by his 1980s Chicago upbringing, Brantley’s work touches on tough subjects in a way that may be easily digestible to the viewer, by telling his stories through youthful characters and their adventures. Brantley’s work can be described as pop infused contemporary art inspired by Japanese anime and the bold aesthetics of street art pioneers Jean Michel Basquiat, KAWS and Keith Haring.

During the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 400 race weekend, attendees will be able to enjoy fun family activities in the Nickelodeon Kids Zone, located in Champion’s Park. The area will feature appearances from the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles costumed characters, a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles photo station and more.

The turtles will defend New York City from the evil Shredder, Krang, Bebop and Rocksteady in theaters on June 3 in Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows.

As for the race, it will air on NBC Sports Network (channel 220 on DirecTV) on September 18 starting at 13:30 EDT.

unnatural and unconstitutional in the natural state

For those who love irony, “the natural state” (nude) is illegal in “The Natural State” (Arkansas). AR 5-68-204 is the most severe anti-nudism law in the country!

Across the country and around the world, naturists are often plagued by laws that impede our ability to enjoy nudism free from harassment or risk of prosecution. In many cases, the culprit is a “public indecent exposure” law that is so poorly and loosely worded that simple, non-sexual, non-offensive nudity gets outlawed in the process. And yes, we have one of those, but Arkansas also has a law that specifically targets nudism on private property. And that’s not even the worst part. I kid you not, AR 5-68-204 is so extreme that it is a crime to “advocate” nudism. You can be fined $2500 and spend a year in jail just for expressing a favorable opinion about nudism. If…

The only appropriate response to anti-nudity laws is to fight them aggressively. And ignore such laws if fighting is unsuccessful.

 How should the naturist/nudist and clothes free community respond to laws that criminalize nudity on private property or advocating the practice of clothes free living?

Scientists confirm what we long knew: nudity (including breastfeeding) does not cause rape

SavedPicture-201631094222.jpg

Albuquerque, N.M. — It’s now been confirmed by scientists: naked people – including breastfeeding mothers – are NOT responsible for the violent behavior of fully clothed men.

The study comes as the #FreeTheNipple movement gains momentum just as the presidential campaigns heat up.

A clinical psychologist named Dr. David Ley posed a question to the Twitter account called ToplessNewYork about whether nudity causes men to rape women.

//platform.twitter.com/widgets.js

Here’s ToplessNewYork’s response:

//platform.twitter.com/widgets.js

//platform.twitter.com/widgets.js

//platform.twitter.com/widgets.js

//platform.twitter.com/widgets.js

So there you have it. Neither the breasts, nor vaginas, nor penises are sexual objects. And thus, another excuse for not allowing public nudity in the US has been removed.

Free the nipple and free the dick.

Heads up! FM Radio app is missing from the latest Redstone build

Redmond, Wash. — On Friday, Microsoft released Build 14322 to Fast Ring insiders on Windows 10 Mobile.

Over the weekend, there were several confirmed reports that FM Radio is missing when users download the build.

Here’s the app on my Alcatel Fierce XL, which is on the latest production build, 10586.218.

All I have to say is that if you want to listen to terrestrial radio, there are third party apps in the Windows Store. Or, you can flash your device back to Windows Phone 8.x or earlier builds of Windows 10 and go back on Slow Ring (which is on the equally bug-riddled build 14295), go on Release Ring or go in Production — after using the Windows Device Recovery Tool to flash back, of course.

Branden Grace wins the tartan jacket — and an automatic invite to the 2017 Masters

RBC Heritage 2016 champion Branden Grace is applauded as he tries on his tartan jacket during an award ceremony after the final round of the 48th annual RBC Heritage Presented by Boeing golf tournament on Sunday, April 17, 2016 at Harbour Town Golf Links on Hilton Head Island, S.C.

Hilton Head Island — He missed the cut last week at the Masters.

In 51 weeks, he’ll get his chance at redemption.

Branden Grace fired a 66 on Sunday, the lowest round of the day, to storm to victory at the RBC Heritage at nine under par and earn an automatic invite to the biggest golf tournament at the Augusta (Ga.) National Golf Club in 2017.

This is Mr. Grace’s first on the PGA Tour, though he had been through the fire before. He has won 10 times internationally, notched his first PGA Tour top-10 in Hilton Head Island last year while playing on a sponsor’s exemption and followed with top-five finishes in half of the four majors.

Hoisting a trophy on US soil was all that remained, and Mr. Grace, did that Sunday on the 18th green overlooking Calibogue Sound, a tartan jacket draped on his shoulders, with the automatic invitation from the Augusta National to play in the 2017 Masters in his hand.

“Now getting this victory, I can settle down a bit and forget about just keeping the (PGA Tour) card and that kind of stuff,” said Mr. Grace, who earned an estimated $1,062,000 with the win. “And now I can really just tick this one off the box and head into maybe the next couple of majors and trying to win it knowing that I have won out here before, now I can do it again.”

Russell Knox finished second and Luke Donald, the third round leader, wound up third after his even par final round failed to close the deal. They finished at seven under par.

“To be in contention, have a chance, that’s what you want to do,” said Mr. Donald, now 0-3 at Harbour Town after holding leads. “You keep putting yourself in those positions. That’s the first one I’ve had this year, so I’m excited to hopefully build off this for next week.”

Mr. Grace, who until this year played on the PGA’s European Tour, recently bought a home in Palm Beach County, Fla., and will be married in November to fiancée Nieke Coetzee.

“And this really gets you in the mood to settle down a little bit and just step into gear whenever you can,” he said.
