The Facebook suite of apps has been retired and removed from the Windows Store

Menlo Park, Calif. — The Facebook suite of apps – Facebook, Instagram and Messenger – are officially gone from the Windows Store.

On April 2, Facebook users on Windows 10 PC and Windows 10 Mobile started receiving a message after every load that the apps would be retired on April 30. Two days later, Microsoft confirmed that the apps would be deleted.

Today is April 30 and sure enough, the three apps no longer appear in the store.

The only way for Windows users to access Facebook, Messenger and Instagram now is from the web.

Less than 1% of all US users are on Windows Mobile.
