Walgreens in Williston closes for good at 9:00 pm – thank Alan Wilson (and Chris Carr) for that

Remember when Walgreens caved to the demands in the letter Alan Wilson and 20 other attorneys general (including Chris Carr) signed on to in March that Kansas Attorney General Kris Kobach wrote demanding pharmacies to stop selling medication abortion pills (including mifepristone)?

Well, turns out that caving to misogynists have consequences.

Ever since then, the Walgreens in Williston, like all other Walgreens locations nationwide, has had little to no traffic in their stores – and now, the store at 12845 MAIN STREET is closing its doors for good at 9:00 pm tonight.

This first made the rounds on Facebook as early as Tuesday, April 4. Below is a photo of the sign:

So, if you want someone to blame for why Williston will have one less choice for medicines, turn to the Attorney General that did not see a challenge at all in last year’s election, Alan Wilson. He’s completely out of control and he needs to be removed.

In the meantime, if you’re a Willistonian, just be sure that the next pharmacy you move your medication prescriptions to is a pro-choice pharmacy that will fill all medications.
