Orangeburg and Orangeburg County are the first Aiken area locations to require masks

Orangeburg — Starting today, masks will be required in public in the Orangeburg City Limits and in unincorporated Orangeburg County.

The county voted to require masks in an emergency meeting on Thursday. The vote was unanimous. The City of Orangeburg unanimously approved a mask requirement on Wednesday.
