Frowning Faces, Ugly Places: Unconstitutional bill banning abortion signed into law – pro-freedom groups sue five seconds later

Columbia — It is no longer a great day in South Carolina.

Instead, it is an awful day in the state.

Henry McMaster, as promised, signed a totally unconstitutional bill banning abortion into law at about 13:25.

The South Carolina Senate is trying to push through an unconstitutional total ban on abortion with unprecedented out-of-session move

Spartanburg quack wants to punish pregnant people with jail time for having abortions

Spartanburg — The genie is out of the bottle.

Robert Jackson, a quack who runs his own business in Spartanburg, wrote an op-ed for the Spartanburg Herald-Journal on Sunday calling for a total ban on all abortions and contraceptives and for prosecuting people who possess birth control and people who seek abortions. The 2015 World Series champions are promoting blatant misogyny in front of their female fans

Kansas City, Mo. — One surefire way to get women to boycott a team is by promoting blatant misogyny.

The Kansas City Royals are partnering up with the Vitae Foundation, an organization known for is misogyny all across Kansas and Missouri. The group, as the women’s rights organization UltraViolet noted, is known for manipulating and lying to women who seek abortions, and promoting extreme anti-choice propaganda. Vitae’s deceptive ads are so grotesque that one Kansas City area radio station actually had the decency to do what is right – remove the ads and ban the group’s ads from its station.

However, that’s not stopping the Royals. The 2015 World Series champions have signed up to broadcast the Vitae ads at games and over the airwaves on as many as 59 radio stations.

Women who are fans of baseball are enraged over this and are already planning to boycott the Royals.

UltraViolet has a petition in an attempt to diffuse this situation, which threatens to get volatile.

Sign the petition and call on the Royals to cease advertising with Vitae.

Pure, unadulterated evil shown in this picture as US Senate votes to defund Planned Parenthood

mike pence smiles as he breaks tie to destroy women's rights

This so-called Vice President is pure evil scum.

Washington, DC — Evil won again today in the US Senate as Mike Pence cast the tie-breaking vote to defund Planned Parenthood and allow US States to do the same.

This vote came 8.5 weeks after the extremely important Women’s March protesting against this very stuff.

All Republicans, except for the vulnerable Lisa Murkowski and Susan Collins, voted for the big government power grab. No Democrats, not even DINO Joe Manchin (W.Va.), voted in favor of this proposal.

Trump has promised to sign this bill, which was rammed through via the Congressional Review Act.

Bottom Line: people did not march in the Women’s March for funsies

Trump Inauguration Protests

Some woman from Spring, Texas named Christy posted a misogynist screed on Facebook during the six hour long Women’s March in the District of Columbia talking about “how good” women have it here.

If women have it so damn good here, then why did the United States receive an F for the grade on women’s rights for the tenth year in a row?

If women have it so good here, then why Nepalese women have more freedom than women here in the United States?

If women have it so good here, then why they cannot receive proper health care without conservatives harassing them or shutting down clinics that give women the well-woman care they deserve?

The fact and the matter is no matter how much Christy or anyone else like her say it, women do not have it good in the United States. It’s not even close – and I, for one, will no longer sugarcoat this.

The United States, once a leader in women’s rights, no longer ranks in the Top 40 when it comes to women’s freedom. In fact, we are outranked by Finland, Sweden, and other countries like Cuba and the Philippines.

If Trump and the Republicans in both Congress and in the States have their way, the United States will soon be ranked alongside the ranks of Iran, China and Oman.

Just in the last four days alone: Trump reinstated the Global Gag Rule, and the GOP in the House of Representatives passed the unconstitutional House Resolution 7, a standalone bill that would codify the Hyde Amendment into permanent law and prohibit pregnant people from using their own money for abortion services.

So, if you are pearl-clutching in any way about the Women’s March, you are way over your head and in fact, you are drowning.

They did not march on January 21 for funsies.

They marched because their rights are in grave peril.

The immediate threat to freedom is not foreign Islamic nations. The immediate threat to our freedom is Christofascists in Congress, the White House and in the state governments.

It is way past time for us to stop ignoring the Republicans and the grave threat they pose to our rights and start paying attention.

Megyn Kelly interviewed Newt Gingrich on the subject of Donald Trump’s alleged groping. Gingrich didn’t seem to understand that the character of the Presidential candidate is an issue or that Bill Clinton isn’t running for President. Ken Paxton and Kamala Harris illegally raid Backpage, arrests leaders of law-abiding web page

Houston — The Attorney Generals of Texas and California, one of whom is a former Tyra Banks Show guest running for the US Senate, illegally raided the offices of earlier this week.

The leaders of the law-abiding web page were also arrested after landing on domestic soil in Harris County.

Ken Paxton, who is currently involved in a number of junk lawsuits against President Obama, and Kamala Harris began their illegal raids of Backpage last year.

Backpage has been no stranger to illegal orders by elected officials who know better. Last month, the US Supreme Court violated their oath of office by allowing an illegal US Senate subpoena of the top classifieds site to stand. Earlier this week, the site was successful in their lawsuit against Tom Dart, the Sheriff of Cook County, Ill., over his illegal order to Visa and Mastercard to stop doing business with the classifieds site.

This story will be updated as soon as the site responds to these unconstitutional shenanigans.

Planned Parenthood finally sues criminal enterprise CMP

NEW YORK CITY — Planned Parenthood, like every other patriotic American, has had more than enough of the professional liars in the violent anti-choice movement.

On Thursday afternoon, January 14, Planned Parenthood fought back, filing a lawsuit more than a decade in the making, charging the Center for Medical Progress for racketeering, and many, many other state and federal crimes – many of which are listed above in the infographic.

The lawsuit was filed on the six-month anniversary of the release of the first of the slanderous videos, which combined had 4,022 deceptive edits. Those edits propelled the terrorist attack against the Colorado Springs, Colo. Planned Parenthood affiliate on November 27, 2015, which killed two patients and a Colorado Springs Police Office deputy.

The RICO filing is especially important, as the CMP has already unsuccessfully challenged the National Abortion Federation in a lawsuit that’s not nearly as far-reaching as Planned Parenthood’s.

Under RICO, if defendants are found guilty, the winners – in this case, Planned Parenthood – can legally seize all of the CMP’s assets and that’s in addition to the monetary damages.

The CMP aren’t the only defendants here: BioMax, David Daleiden, Troy Newman and Sandra Merritt are also co-defendants. Their assets can also be seized if they lose.

The lawsuit is against known anti-abortion extremists, including Daleiden, Troy Newman, Albin Rhomberg, and Sandra Merritt, as well as the front organizations they created to commit their crimes: CMP and BioMax.

  • The lawsuit charges that CMP, its leaders, and other co-conspirators:
    • Violated the Racketeer Influence and Corrupt Organizations (RICO) Act;
    • Violated the federal eavesdropping statute;
    • Engaged in wire fraud, mail fraud, invasion of privacy, illegal secret recording, and trespassing; and
    • Used a complex criminal enterprise to defraud Planned Parenthood and prevent it from providing health care.
  • The lawsuit asks for restitution of compensatory and punitive damages and triple damages for violation of the RICO Act, as well as attorney’s fees.

Over the course of nearly three years, CMP operatives including Daleiden and Newman:

  • Created fake identities (and fake government IDs);
  • Obtained a credit card using a fake name;
  • Used their aliases to form another front organization: a fake tissue procurement company called BioMax;
  • Wormed their way into private medical conferences and trespassed onto private property (like health care centers); and
  • Illegally recorded private professional conversations of doctors and other medical providers without consent.

When CMP’s illegally recorded videos, trespassing, and other efforts didn’t turn up anything bad, they spliced together shards of lengthy conversations to create short, deceptive, and distorted videos. In the summer of 2015, CMP started releasing these videos, which claimed that Planned Parenthood health centers profited from fetal tissue donation. Since then, CMP’s smear campaign has continued to push more lies and outrageous accusations.

And with most of the footage coming from California, the violations of Statute 632 comes into play here and Kamala Harris, the Attorney General of the CMP’s home state, is still mulling over whether criminal charges can be filed.  The Golden State is also thinking about filing a lawsuit of their own against the CMP.

There is a very high likelihood – greater than a 95% chance – that Planned Parenthood will win this lawsuit.

President Obama immediately vetoes bill defunding Planned Parenthood

WASHINGTON, DC — Our president didn’t waste even three seconds reading over the bill sent to his desk because like every other patriotic American, he knew it was the same nonsense from the GOP that broke numerous promises to provide jobs, jobs, jobs five years ago.

That’s one of many reasons why he vetoed it so quickly.

Another reason he vetoed the bill is because supporters of the campaign to defund Planned Parenthood blatantly lied about finding alternatives to the nation’s premier women’s health care organization.

Instead of working on trying to improve the economy, the GOP decided to go down the path of waging War On Women, yet again.

In less time it takes to rebound a basketball and complete a successful transition, President Obama did the right thing.

In his veto message, President Obama said, “The Reconciliation Act would also effectively defund Planned Parenthood. Planned Parenthood uses both Federal and non-federal funds to provide a range of important preventive care and health services, including health screenings, vaccinations, and check-ups to millions of men and women who visit their health centers annually. Longstanding Federal policy already prohibits the use of Federal funds for abortions, except in cases of rape or incest or when the life of the woman would be endangered. By eliminating Federal Medicaid funding for a major provider of health care, H.R. 3762 would limit access to health care for men, women, and families across the Nation, and would disproportionately impact low-income individuals.”

Planned Parenthood wants us to share their link to let readers know to thank President Obama for doing what’s right, even if it is unpopular with the loudest voices in the lamestream media.

These nine businesses are in collusion with Coalfire and the Center for Medical Progress to destroy and deny women reproductive health care in the US!

LOS ANGELES — About one hour 15 minutes ago, one Disqus commenter on the Hill let slip a small list of businesses that have joined the Center for Medical Progress and Coalfire to promote the anti-abortion agenda of destroying and denying women basic reproductive health care in the US.

As you may well know from other sites, the videos the Center for Medical Progress recorded from 2012 to June of this year had no less than 4,022 deceptive edits total.

Now, anti-abortion radicals are trying desperately to promote a ‘forensics analysis’ from an anti-abortion propaganda arm called Coalfire to take the heat off David Daleiden and the CMP.

Ladies and gents, these are the nine companies that are supporting the anti-abortion agenda to deny women basic health care in the United States:

Pro-Choice activists, you know what to do. Tweet them relentlessly until they disassociate themselves from the Center for Medical Progress and Coalfire. If that fails, boycott every one of these businesses, including Amazon.

WAR ON N.C. WOMEN: Department of Health and Human Services ILLEGALLY suspends FemCare’s license

ASHEVILLE — The North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services has illegally suspended the license of FemCare, the only women’s health care provider in the entire state that survived the #motorcyclevagina law.

The NCDHHS claims it found 23 violations from FemCare, all of which are completely bogus on its face, since FemCare never had any kind of problems or disciplinary actions prior to this sham inspection.

This is all a ploy by Pat McCrory and his allies in the radical, fascist, Taliban GOP to completely ban abortion in North Carolina without exceptions, not even to preserve the life of the mother.

In short, McCrory wants to murder as many North Carolina women as possible.

For now, he will get his wish — and the blood of dead women will be oozing from the hands of this wicked, black-hearted governor.

Thankfully, he will face re-election at the same time we pick President Obama’s successor. Women in North Carolina certainly won’t forget about his betrayal or his war on Tar Heel women.
