Unitarian Universalist Church of Augusta vandalized in act of hate

Augusta, Ga. — Those who attend a local Unitarian Universalist Church woke up to see hatred rearing its ugly head.
The Unitarian Universalist Church of Augusta was vandalized with the words “God Will Not Be Mocked” and other symbols of hate spray painted on the bricks and windows of the building.
This type of hatred targeting Unitarian Universalist churches is nothing new. In 2008, the Unitarian Universalist Church of Knoxville, Tenn. was the scene of a massacre committed by a right wing terrorist.
