CBS will air marquee WNBA matchups starting next month
New York City — Next month, there will be a new home for the WNBA.
According to numerous reports, CBS Sports has purchased rights to the WNBA. CBS – which includes affiliates WRDW, WLTX, and WTOC – will air more than 40 games during the season, beginning with the Minnesota Lynx and Chicago Sky tilt.
Here are the list of the trio of weekend games you can see on News 12, News 19 and WTOC 11 (schedule subject to change):
May 25: Minnesota at Chicago (8:00 pm)
July 13: Las Vegas at Washington (7:00 pm)
August 10: Atlanta at Indiana (3:00 pm)
The rest of the games will be carried by the cable channel CBS Sports Network as those games either begin after 8:00 pm or are on a weeknight.
