GOP Regulators’ War on North Carolina Women claim three clinics since May
The War on North Carolina Women claim three clinics since May
RALEIGH — The War on North Carolina Women has taken a particularly ugly turn since May 1.
Anti-choice regulators who want to murder women shut down three women’s health clinics in three months, including the only one that survived the motorcycle vagina law.
Gov. Pat McCrory, who broke a major promise in signing Senate Bill 353, appointed the regulators.
Paige Johnson, vice president of external affairs for Planned Parenthood of Central North Carolina, is concerned about the sudden politically-motivated closing of the three clinics. She said they worked well with inspectors in the past.
Planned Parenthood of Central North Carolina owns several of the clinics in the region. None of them are up to the unconstitutional new codes that Senate Bill 353 calls for.
“Our relationship with the state has always been a partnership ensuring women are safe and cared for respectfully, and not a kind of gotcha,” said Mrs. Johnson. “There’s been a flurry of attention from the governor’s office and DHHS. What about hospitals, ambulatory surgical centers, assisted living facilities? What has changed to make the state focus on abortion providers? Is it about politics?”
Yes, it is definitely about politics, Mrs. Johnson. There is a reason that these clinics are closing all of a sudden and none of the reasons I can come up with are legitimate.
The GOP do not want women to get good health care. You should have known that by now.
Programming manager arrested for raping Microsoft janitor
REDMOND, WA — A programming manager for Microsoft was axed, then arrested, for raping a janitor at the office.
The 36-year-old programming manager called the woman into his office late at night on the sprawling grounds of the software company. He then shoved off her blouse, according to court documents.
The senior manager then showed the woman explicit images on his cellphone, blocked her from leaving and grabbed her ass and crotch.
He then pushed the woman to the ground and raped her for about ten minutes.
The woman later contacted a female supervisor for the cleaning company she works for, who then relayed police.
Vineet Kumar Srivastava, 36, was arrested on July 26 by the Redmond Police Department and charged with sexual assault of a high and aggravated nature.
Mr. Srivastava was terminated immediately by Microsoft.
I applaud Microsoft for taking such quick action against rapists like Mr. Srivastava. Wish other companies and institutions are just as quick to sweep rapists out of their companies and institutions.
