Man rapes woman after she refused to give him $3.00 in a subway
NEW YORK CITY — A man on a Subway very early Thursday morning was arrested for attempting to sexually assault a woman.
The incident happened at the Rockaway shuttle at the Beach 90th St. station
The victim was headed to her job at John F. Kennedy Airport, the second busiest airport in the entire United States.
The man tried to chat up the 42-year-old victim. Then, he sat immediate next to the victim, put his arm around her, then followed her onto the platform at the Broad Channel station.
She then fled to the A train, but the creepy, rapey man followed her onboard. He then demanded three dollars from her.
She ran again at the Howard Beach station, but the man again pursued her, police said. He slipped his pants lower, exposed himself and then tried to rape her.
This time though, other people frightened the man off and he fled on the A train.
The man was then busted at the 80th St. station and later identified by the victim.
Melvin Adams, 37, of Brooklyn, was arrested by the Metropolitan Transportation Authority and charged with criminal sex act, sex abuse and forcible touching.
This is Mr. Adams’s seventh arrest.
Let’s hope that Mr. Adams is put away for this rape or attempt to rape. It’s a jungle out there, people.
